PARENTS' CORNER

News & updates

Dear Families,

This is a friendly reminder of our policy regarding weather-related closures with the approaching winter storm. To ensure the safety of our children, families, and staff.

Our center will close under the following conditions:

  • If Hancock County or Allen County is placed under a Level 3 Snow Emergency, or

  • If either county is under a Level 2 Snow Emergency and weather conditions continue to worsen, making travel unsafe.

Closure decisions are made with safety as our top priority. Families will be notified as soon as possible through our usual communication channels (Smartcare, Dojo, Facebook) if a closure is necessary. We will also be on hometown station and WFIN if we are closed.

Please have arrangements to pick your child up early in the event we need to close early.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work together to keep everyone safe during severe weather.

Cold and flu season is here, and we appreciate your partnership in helping keep our daycare healthy. Please remember to keep children home if they have a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or are not feeling well enough to participate in daily activities. Encourage frequent handwashing, cover coughs and sneezes, and be sure your child gets plenty of rest. Please ensure your child washes their hands upon arrival.

Our staff continues regular cleaning and health practices to reduce the spread of illness. Please remember to take home your families nap stuff, water bottles, and bookbag weekly to be cleaned/washed and sent back.

Thank you for helping us create a safe and healthy environment for everyone!

Closed for Good Friday- April 3rd, 2026
